SECOVE Presented at the EfVET Annual Conference in Rhodes

From October 25th to 28th, 2023, the EfVET Annual Conference took place in Rhodes, Greece, bringing together VET providers, policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers from across Europe. Under the theme “A Vocational Education Training Agenda of Future Skills for Green Transition,” the conference addressed one of the most pressing challenges facing vocational education today: how to equip learners with the skills needed for a sustainable, climate-neutral future.

During the conference, the SECOVE project was presented to an international audience of VET experts and stakeholders. Attendees learned about SECOVE’s mission to establish national Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in Greece, Spain, Slovakia, Italy, and Portugal, with a dedicated focus on the sustainable energy sector.

The presentation highlighted how SECOVE promotes innovative, high-quality lifelong learning opportunities oriented towards developing green skills and competencies. The project’s emphasis on transnational cooperation, policy recommendations, and challenge-based learning modules resonated strongly with the conference’s focus on building a future-ready VET ecosystem.
