The SECOVE Project presented at a workshop on inclusion in Košice
On June 20, 2025, the SECOVE project was presented in Košice during the SKSI workshop “Building a Network of Partners within the Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE)”, which focused on strengthening collaboration and partnerships among key stakeholders.
As part of the programme, ASTRA delivered a presentation titled “Social Inclusion and the Involvement of Women in Technical Professions”. The presentation addressed the importance of promoting social inclusion and increasing the participation of women in ICT and technical fields, highlighting both current challenges and opportunities.
The session emphasised the role of education, training, and collaborative initiatives in supporting diversity, equal opportunities, and inclusive access to emerging technology careers. It also showcased how projects like SECOVE contribute to reducing skills gaps while fostering a more inclusive digital workforce.
The workshop brought together representatives from education, industry, and policy sectors, creating a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and discussion on the development of inclusive and sustainable Centres of Vocational Excellence.
The participation of SECOVE in this event contributed to increasing the visibility of the project and reinforcing its commitment to inclusive, innovative, and labour market-relevant skills development.
