STAVKE Hosts Greek Students for Training in Sustainable Energy
As part of the project activities, STAVKE recently hosted a group of 13 students from Greece for a transnational learning mobility focused on sustainable energy education.
The mobility was organised within the framework of the project’s work on the development of common units on sustainable energy for EQF levels 3–5, designed in line with ECVET principles. Its objective is to support cross-border certification, recognition and transfer of learning outcomes, while offering learners innovative, practice-oriented training experiences.
During their stay in Slovakia, the students participated in pilot learning activities at STAVKE, working with VR-based learning content and testing modular units focused on sustainability, energy efficiency and green technologies. These activities directly contributed to the ongoing development and refinement of the Sustainable Energy modular course, which is also being adapted into a microcredentials format.
In addition to the academic programme, the Slovak hosts ensured a warm and welcoming environment for the visiting students. The group had the opportunity to discover Košice, including visits to its most important cultural and historical landmarks, and to experience local traditions and Slovak cuisine. Informal activities and shared meals created space for intercultural exchange, friendship and mutual understanding.
The mobility also supported the strengthening of partnerships for student exchange and cross-border certification, which are essential for the long-term implementation and accreditation of the developed common units. Feedback from both students and educators will be used to further improve the content and structure of the modules.
