SECOVE presented at Tknika’s annual event before more than 300 VET representatives

On 10 April 2025, Politeknika Txorierri presented the SECOVE project at Tknika’s annual event, which brought together more than 300 participants from national and international Vocational Education and Training centres.

The project was presented by Anabel Menica, Director of Innovation and Strategy at Politeknika Txorierri. Her intervention focused on the relevance of SECOVE in the field of sustainable energy, highlighting the importance of building strong synergies between education, innovation and the energy sector.

A special focus was also placed on the importance of women’s engagement in the sustainable energy sector. In this context, the event provided an excellent opportunity to share and promote the results of the Summer Camp for young women organised by Politeknika Txorierri in summer 2024, an initiative aimed at bringing young women closer to technical and green professions.

The five-hour event offered a valuable space to disseminate SECOVE among a wide VET audience, strengthen its visibility at national and international level, and underline the role of Vocational Education and Training in promoting sustainability, innovation and gender equality in emerging sectors.
