SECOVE Presented at the DISCUSS Learning 2024

On October 30, 2024, the annual DISCUSS Learning Conference took place at the Titania Hotel in Athens, bringing together educators, policymakers, and industry professionals under the theme “Sustainability & Green Transition in Vocational Education and the Labour Market”. The conference explored how green skills are reshaping vocational education and training (VET) across Europe.

The first session of the day, titled “Green Skills” delved into the foundations of a sustainable economy through vocational excellence.

The highlight of the first session was a joint presentation about Excellence in vocational education and green transition. The presentation introduced the SECOVE project, with attendees learning how the project promotes innovative, high-quality learning opportunities oriented towards developing green skills and competencies. The project’s emphasis on transnational cooperation, policy recommendations, and challenge-based learning modules resonated strongly with the conference’s focus on sustainability.
