SECOVE Presented at “Road to Green Growth for SMEs & VET” Regional Event

On October 24, 2022, the SECOVE project was presented during the regional event “Road to Green Growth for SMEs & VET,” organized in collaboration with SAEK Aigaleo and IDEC S.A.

The event brought together interested regional stakeholders to address how SMEs can adapt to sustainability demands through upskilling. SAEK Aigaleo, as a key partner in the SECOVE project, played an active role in facilitating discussions on the ground-level challenges faced by trainees and local businesses.

During the event, the SECOVE project was presented to an audience of trainees and educators. Attendees learned about the project’s mission to establish national Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in Greece, Spain, Slovakia, Italy, and Portugal, focusing specifically on the sustainable energy sector. The presentation highlighted how SECOVE encourages innovative lifelong learning opportunities and the development of green skills and competencies.

The session also touched upon SAEK Aigaleo’s role in the project, particularly its efforts to align training curricula with the needs of the energy sector.
